Acquisition

The purchase of one company, asset or business interest by another.

Active ETF

An exchange-traded fund where investment decisions are made through an active or systematic process.

Balance sheet

A financial statement showing assets, liabilities and shareholder equity at a point in time.

Benchmark

An index or reference point used to compare investment performance and risk.

Diversification

Spreading exposure across issuers, sectors or markets to reduce concentration risk.

ETF

An exchange-traded fund that can be bought and sold on an exchange during market hours.

Equity tilt

A portfolio approach that applies small overweights and underweights to broad equity exposure.

A pooled investment vehicle managed according to a defined objective.
